hahah, that doesn't mean it's 24v.. 2000LaDe's truck came stock w/2 alts, 2 batteries. Unless specified, it's NOT 24v.

What size truck........semi?

My truck has 3 batteries, but its not 36v....they are parallel wired. Have you checked to see if they are series or parallel?

take a dmm out there and check the voltage on those batts...

You will have A LOT of fun changing it over if that is the case, lol. Everything electrical will have to be changed......gauges, ignition, starter, etc.

Again, what year/make/model is this truck?

24v is usually a bigrig/semi set-up

no it wouldn't. not many amps will accept 24 volts. i'm not convinced that it is 24 volts anyway. could just be an assumption that 2 batteries = 24 volts, which is false.
