I've got an alphasonik pma1200da. Does 2400 @ 1ohm I believe it does rated or close to it. However, it does have a problem. Something is burt with my power supply in it and it doesn't put out as much power as it used to. It still turns on and works though. Some amp repair guys said its not an expensive repair. I can post pics and more info when I get on my computer (typing on phone) later. EDIT - it acutally has started putting out more power since I plugged in the bass knob lol, but still has a problem.

Pictures are a few posts down..

$175

okay..the ding doesnt looking like it would happen from getting dropped so i doubt thats how it happened. The seal was broken before I even opened it thats that.

I actaully remember looking at the sticker when I first got it and it looked kinda worn or something but I didnt think much of it.

Maybe the guy opened it up when he benched tested it bobby?

maybe this.

and coma toast mind your shyt

dont start bein a dick im not tryin to blame it on anyone,i am tryin to help you

i'd call them and talk to a rep

well i still wish you had said you wernt 100% happy(but you said you we're) i would have given full refund, but oh well thats the past maybe it can be salvaged.

First it was broken and now it just looked worn.

How do you know. You said you werent there to witness it so how do you know he didnt do it.
I said i FIRST noticed it was def. broken when I looked at it to take the amp apart yesterday. I didnt inspect the sticker or anything when I first got the amp but it def. looked old and worn.

I know the guy didnt do it, ive seen them bench amps before and it didnt invole them taking the back off. I wouldnt have had to get it benched in the first place if it hadent have smoked 1st thing.

Deal is, an amp shouldnt smoke when I hook it up...the guy said it still had 18 months of warrenty left when I bought it. I shouldve said something when it smoked, but I thought nothing of it when it actually worked when I started my car.

yes it still had the warranty so when it smoked why in teh hell didnt you contact me??????????????? This makes no sense at freakin all....
Only reason I didnt was because it worked when I started my car so I though o well..just a little smoke. dumb dumb dumb

So instead of contacting him you decided to just keep running it. That makes perfect sense. If you sold me an amp that smoked i wouldnt say, thats odd and keep pushing it. I can guarentee you within 3 minutes of testing youd have a PM which it seems you didnt want to do. None of this is his fault, whether your blaming him or not.
