Ok let me start out by saying that I really like IA's products.. I own two IA 40.1's and have owned 2 12" DP and never had a problem with anything... BUT in my opinion I think the 21" sub should atleast have a 4" coil to control that huge cone... I think a 3" is just to small ... ANything larger then a 18" should come standard with atleast a 4" coil.. I know this will up the price but in the end it may be worth it...

I have owned a couple 20.1's, a 40.1 and a couple 08 DP 12's. From personal experience i have nothing but good stuff to say about their gear. The build quality is awesome and Nicks's customer support is top notch.

^^^^^^lol i dont know if you realized but he was asking me.

Its not ******* up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

It's called give the guy who wants a nice BIG woofer at just a little bit better of a price than as listed, and on Friday IA will have the money //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Otherwise I will just have to buy a Used Digital Design Subwoofer, that I know will give me years of good customer service. I like DD's never owned one LOL, all because of one personal experience being around 2 9915's, and this forum has made me always want one. I also have seen these IA woofers sounding really nice, but the 21" woofer is perfect for my ideal volume, and setup.

I will have to buy my valentine one radar detector next week //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Look , Here is the thing. I have a BIG *** NICE LOOKING 2500 GMC VANDURA (VAN)
I got 4 kids //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif So.. I cant cough up the 10 cubes for two 18's like I would like, and cannot\dont want just 2 15's, this 21" woofer is the answer to my problem, a perfect inbetween "SINGLE WOOFER SETUP". I want to open the back of my VAN and have the EYE of the biggest woofer around peep'n at you LOL.

Can you make me a deal Nick ? I have tried everything but IA audio, and you are a little pricey, I wont lie it worry's me of the investment, but for my other two cars which will also get a system I have seen your 12 LI woofer, and think a single application of each to each of my other cars would be perfect. I would like to Dis-regard what that gentleman said about your products, and Mo Lester, I owe numerous boxes I built to his freely handed designs to this forum, but the fact he won a 21" woofer from IA makes me have to unbias his opinion. What can IA do for me?

Got a number for me to speak to one of you guys! Here is what I honestly want if I am going to spend 500$ on a single woofer.

I dont plan to compete or hit the driver with more than reccomended, I want a RELIABLE subwoofer, and I also want to know that should something go wrong with the woofer even once it's past warranty, that I can rely on good customer service, at an affordible fee to repair the woofer I would have grown attached to.

I WANT ONE WOOFER! STICK TO JUST ONE BRAND! Should it simply hold to those things.

I am more simple to convince, in spending 600$ on a 21" subwoofer, but my wifes a different story. Help me to help convince myself to ignore her arguements NICK!

I haven't ever won anything from IA lol. The drawing for the 21" is still going //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

OH..

LOL LOL LOL

well hey MO .... Thanks for all those box plans you put on the site man. I never got to thank you for them LOL, I used on of those plans on a pair of Orion P series 10" woofers in my VAN //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I shut up a lot of crap talk between my cousins using 4 10" visonik subs in a sealed box that thought nothing was harder, until that ported box had my windshield wipers bounceing LOL.

Thanks man! Maybe I will pay you for an 8th order design for whichever woofer I buy. I have wanted to understand how 8th orders work.

i was under the impression, the spider pack controls the cone movement. I do not fully understand what you mean.

Ive never owned any of the IA line of equipment in the past 20 year's ive owned car audio equipment. Kinda a shame really, ive never had a chance to play with any of them.

However, next time I buy 4 new amps - the IA 40.1's will be in the top 3 manufacturer contenders.

It does but look at it as trying to set book on top of a bottle of pop or setting it on top of a can of pop... It is alot more stable on the can as it is a bigger base for the book to balance on... as for the bottle the book will be easier to tilt and alot less stable... Plus with a larger coil u get more power handling and alot more surface area around the former for that triple joint to hold on to

pawnman on this forum won 1st in 2 classes at Florida State Finals with 3 DP 12s and 2 40.1s

At Daytona Spring Break Nationals Nick reconed his drivers for free and Todd (pawnman) was placed #3 in the world Standings on Iasca's site in his class ... that was done with 2 DP 12s and the 2 40.1s

That tells me all i need to know about IA
