21" subwoofer by IA ?

I think this sub would be sick to play with personally. I've seen a 12" in person and they look awesome
//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

anyhow

i thought they all needed recones //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif, seems all I have seen for sale are ones needing recones anyhow.
i agree with this i think i saw one that was good forsale by TSGP out of around 6-7(most just motors)

The op was asking for a personal opinion so i gave one. From my own experience i am not so much impressed. Especially with the manufacture problems dave had with them. Nothing against IA AT ALL.. just stating my opinion per op post.
As far as the manufacturing problem - we had a neck joint to break - it's rare, but it happens sometimes. 99% of the time it's from abuse because the paper delaminates. Either way abuse or not we made it up with a recone. So I don't see the problem.

As far as the performs goes we have tons of customers that are very happy with them. So if they performed less than expected, I'd assume there might have been other issues as well at play.

Thanks,

Nick

I know thats why i stated good customer service and not impressed by the sub.

I can understand where your coming from on abuse, but as bad as his craftsmanship is.. hes not out to make things look "impressive" just get the job done right. Dave knows how to hook things up and believe me he always makes sure his gains, etc. are set right..

my opinion rather from my previous comment, i'd try them no problem.. i have the space and i'm sure i could get the power.. but with all the ones i've seen blown already and people trying to sale them for cheap.. I have to ask.. why bother for fear of the same thing happeneing?

All in all, the company is awesome.. I like the older DP sub and I wish they would still make it.. just because but.. to each their own.

+1 for you and you wonder why your buying 2 blown IA 21"woofers
because i know what im going to do with them

I have nothing but good things to say about IA. Love my Lethal Injections. For what they are and the price they CANNOT be beat.

Nick makes good stuff. That's the bottom line //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I wish more people had input for their flatlyne series, that I WOULD like to get my hands on.. lol

recone them!! thats fine though.. i cant wait to see your build.
it was a toss up i was going to buy scotts 2 12s and then buy 2 more and make 4 IA 12s , but instead id get that low crazy bass with 2 21 ". i dont think mechanicly they are bad ill have to wait and try but the customer suppirt is awesome , cant beat it at all. unlike some companies where they can care if you win orr lose all they want is $$$ . nice is stand up and has treated me awesome, i think hell treat you awesome as well. as for the op hey it doesnt hurt to try to get the woofer. i never tried the 21" dp but im giving it a shot and expecting low loud output. its all in design of enclosure and set up use that wisely and any woofer will do its job +2

x2!

probably one of the most over looked subs on the market. ive been nothing but impressed by my single 12" LI. ive never heard or seen any other of their models in person , but after having this , im sure i can safely assume they would be nothing but impressive.

IA has great customer service and even better products.

I have owned 6 12" 187's

and 1 15" old style DP. Burped the DP with 3k rms //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif and it took it! It took 1400-1500 daily //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Could you please explain in more detail?
Thanks,

Nick

Look , Here is the thing. I have a BIG *** NICE LOOKING 2500 GMC VANDURA (VAN)

I got 4 kids //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif So.. I cant cough up the 10 cubes for two 18's like I would like, and cannot\dont want just 2 15's, this 21" woofer is the answer to my problem, a perfect inbetween "SINGLE WOOFER SETUP". I want to open the back of my VAN and have the EYE of the biggest woofer around peep'n at you LOL.

Can you make me a deal Nick ? I have tried everything but IA audio, and you are a little pricey, I wont lie it worry's me of the investment, but for my other two cars which will also get a system I have seen your 12 LI woofer, and think a single application of each to each of my other cars would be perfect. I would like to Dis-regard what that gentleman said about your products, and Mo Lester, I owe numerous boxes I built to his freely handed designs to this forum, but the fact he won a 21" woofer from IA makes me have to unbias his opinion. What can IA do for me?

Got a number for me to speak to one of you guys! Here is what I honestly want if I am going to spend 500$ on a single woofer.

I dont plan to compete or hit the driver with more than reccomended, I want a RELIABLE subwoofer, and I also want to know that should something go wrong with the woofer even once it's past warranty, that I can rely on good customer service, at an affordible fee to repair the woofer I would have grown attached to.

I WANT ONE WOOFER! STICK TO JUST ONE BRAND! Should it simply hold to those things.

I am more simple to convince, in spending 600$ on a 21" subwoofer, but my wifes a different story. Help me to help convince myself to ignore her arguements NICK!
