I've purchased everything except subwoofer and enclosure. Pioneer nex4200 HU, Fosgate 5x7 for front and rear doors, Pioneer 5 channel 9605 amp. I have not decided what the best sub setup would be. I've gone back and forth between single or dual subs, 2 downfire 10" pioneer shallow or 2 front facing 8" CT tropo dvc. Mostly sealed enclosed under the seats. What sub will sound better with this amp only putting out 400w or so at 4ohm on the single subchannel?

Will the two 8s front facing under the seat sound better than 2 shallow 10s downfiring?

Think about a jl tw3. You could go up to a 12. A single one ported would be nice. I have to 10s ported and it’s loud.
