2010 Camaro.. 1st box 2 American Bass 12" XFL's Phantom 4000md

More pics or possibly a build log? Fiberglass? I'm about to be doing an install in the same vehicle with the exact same thing in mind (except I think I'm putting the sub on the passenger side plus it will be ported).
Sorry, didn't take much of pics but yes it is fiberglass.

These cars are rather straight forward when it comes to the side enclosures. Make a base to sit on the floor and since some of the sides are some what straight/flat you can use a few sections of wood along the back. Then just put the sub and port where you want them and you are pretty much good to go. The carpet on the sides is about 1-2" form the side of the car so you can even mold to the car and go 3-4 layers of glass thick..and rage gold and still fit just fine.

I don't think he's gonna make it out of gold.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

But I do want it to conform to my trunk the best it can to make good use of all the avail space.. I can't just buy a box and get it shipped cause it won't fit in the trunk

opening.... Lol I have to take out the spare tire and use that extra little space just to move the pre-fab box in a out of the trunk at a angle.. Trust me.. So it has to built inside the trunk.. Somebody tell star mountain sounds to hit me back.. He must have thought I was just jerking his chain.. Cause he's the closeset person I can get too and have him build it in my trunk...

oh and for 9 he was gonna do a whole plexi side on the front and back.. and I wanted LEDS in the box.. said I needed 1" plexi.. do you think I need it that thick.. or will I be ok with 3/4"...?? I know it's more expensive the thick it gets..

lol.. like I said.. if I can find someone close or even relatively close to Atlanta.. I would gladly use them.. I know Star Mountain is close.. but he's pretty busy.. do you know of anybody else. Recommendations..??

If you do it in fiberglass you can have it built just about anywhere that has access to the same/similar car. They just have to build it where it will slide in in separate sections is all. You also want to keep access to where your spare would be so you can get to the battery if you ever need to.

@double 07 ;)

Do you think it would be better like that pro-rabbit?? Like can it still be built to spec..?? How much would that run?? price wise..
The best method is to do what will work best for you to be honest.

Price wise, that would depend more on the overall design and how you wanted it finished. Assuming it will be done in fiberglass, that may take a bit of time depending on how it will be painted or wrapped.

I would have to see that car in person in order to see what could be done but if it would have to involve fiberglass in order to make it happen then I can't help you there because 007 s u x at fiberglass....lol
