Lol.. soo I have someone the builds houses cut my bo panels for me and I come back and $70 of wood is F**ked up.. cut all wavy and S*it.. So I'm pissed I go to put in my old box.. and I think I blew my amp re-connecting.. this is how my install ends... I'ma wait for a professional..
no.. i didn't.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif i was just pissed *** hell.. Hope I didn't blow it.. it doesn't smell burnt.. taking it to a shop after work...
yeh.. I did.. it blew the inline power fuse.. took it to a shop.. waiting on the reply.. when he looked at my box.. he started laughing.. said the guy I bought it from put it in a pre-fab box.. Showed me how he knew.. and the subs ar blowing the box apart.. I can feel air comming out of the seems of the box while he pressed down on one of the cones.. He said he will get the amp fixed.. but he doesn't recommend that I put it back on the subs until I have a box built..
Will it hurt the subs if I use them till I get another box built??
Not for the XFL, but this is what we did for a small single 12" sealed setup for the same car. There is more then enough room to build something similar just larger and go ported and still have a decent amount of room.
*note, the wiring is not ours nor did we run it. I was just requested for the enclosure and then it was picked up and installed. Sounded great when he came back by..but not my favorite choice in product used in this application. It did work rather well though, I was actually impressed by the performance.
