I have the exact same jeep as louisianacrx and my shi t doesnt rattle of flex at all with 900 wrms and it sounds awesome. accoustics are great to my surprise.

looks great....I think the rims look great on it but I might have put a more aggressive tire on there. Looks great nonetheless.

Hey Louisiana,

What are the diemensions of that DD 8" box?

I'm kinda thinking I shoulda got two 8s or something and see if I can fit them behind the seat in my reg cab sonoma... those lil 8s seem to get pretty loud..

Wheels actually look decent.

I'm just used to all the 4x4 and trail jeeps that are running around here, and the new/old FJs and such.

well yea I was just meaning for looks purposes..but then they would prob wear faster and you'd be replacing tires more..

I'd recommend standard ported boxes for two 1508's....1.75 cu ft plus port.....slot port opening....28 sq inches...by 16" long...should come to about 2 cu ft internal with port displacement and basket...maybe slightly bigger 2.1 or 2.2

Thats how much room I have behind my seats. Would be better if I did a wedge box.

I may sell my Mach 5 SPL-12s, cause I'm not really sure if I want to do a blowthrough to fit. What frequencies were the 8s tuned to in your sig?

I'd like to have a SPL orientated daily setup..

Oh, how thick is the roofs on the new jeeps? are they thicker than the previous generations? My buddies flexes up and down and hits the rollbar.

Plus it kinda flaps when you go fast.. its creepy.

I wish I could get the videos of him running over the hood of a old Mazda hatch.

when i ran the 4 they were tuned at 40 hz...same specs i gave you for your pair...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif they should be very impressive.....with the space you have I calculate 4.2 cu ft...enough for 4 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif but if your gonna run a pair...build that style box...and down fire your subs and port.....place the port on passenger side.....leave about 5" between floor and subs and port...actually building it truck style and leave about 5 inches and have it load into a wood bottom. it will look like a long port across the bottom you won't see subs or port...i wish i could draw it.....feed them about 2000rms...it will hammer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
