2008 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab 2wd lt2 on 24's

honestly i dont know if it voids the warranty. one of the salesmen had a truck lowered for a ss conversion and had other mods done to it, and was going to put it on the lot for sale. yea they do look small for 24's, in person they look bigger.

looks sick and really clean but TAKE THE DEALER PLATES/PLATE FRAMES OFF they look very tacky especially when you put rims/other appearance mods.

A chrome exhaust tip would look cool too.

Any modification to a vehicle shouldn't void a warranty unless the modification caused the failure. Therefore a lift/drop won't void warranty on say, your power windows. I dropped my mustang and my service writer didn't care. I'm lifting my truck and putting on bigger heavier tires and I'm betting I will get some flack about it next time I'm at the dealership. Bigger/heavier tires are usually the reason they will try to void a warranty, not the lift kit.

Read up on the magnusson-moss act and try to keep as good a relationship with your local service dept as possible to keep them on your side.

You might be able to have them change your gear ratio to keep the warranty. That would take care of any problems caused by a larger wheel. And most forged wheels are lighter than the heavy cast factory units anyway

Doin a gear swap too, but the 35's I'm putting on weigh 30lbs more each than the stockers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

as long as you do a gear swap and break upgrade, I don't see what problems you could have from putting those on

sick truck. chevy never lets anyone down lol. im thinking if you let the dealership do all the mods they wont void the warranty. at least that was what i was told, if you let the dealership put the exhaust rims tires eveyrthing on for you they wont void it. i think.... but that is a beautiful truck.

no brake upgrades as of now. yes i live in an apartment. i had 35" tires and 22"s on my dodge and never did any brake changes. it was fine. guess i got lucky. the interior is very nice. thanks

does look like a pretty nice truck (and this coming from a Ford guy lol) Drop will definitely complete the package. Black sure is sharp as long as you can keep it clean.

I'm lookin forward to the dropped pics and the system plans.
