im not sure if it voids it or not. i have been wondering that also because i want to lift my truck but still keep the warranty
You might be able to have them change your gear ratio to keep the warranty. That would take care of any problems caused by a larger wheel. And most forged wheels are lighter than the heavy cast factory units anywayAny modification to a vehicle shouldn't void a warranty unless the modification caused the failure. Therefore a lift/drop won't void warranty on say, your power windows. I dropped my mustang and my service writer didn't care. I'm lifting my truck and putting on bigger heavier tires and I'm betting I will get some flack about it next time I'm at the dealership. Bigger/heavier tires are usually the reason they will try to void a warranty, not the lift kit.
Read up on the magnusson-moss act and try to keep as good a relationship with your local service dept as possible to keep them on your side.
Doin a gear swap too, but the 35's I'm putting on weigh 30lbs more each than the stockers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gifYou might be able to have them change your gear ratio to keep the warranty. as long as you do a gear swap and break upgrade, I don't see what problems you could have from putting those onDoin a gear swap too, but the 35's I'm putting on weigh 30lbs more each than the stockers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
