Not sure if the convertable door is any different. If its the same as the coupe you will have to take the pod for the stock shaker 500 upper door speakers out and make an mdf plate to mount them too. Should work aslong as depth doesn't get you.Less you count having to wipe all the drool off it as people check it out.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif
By the way, as long as we are talking Mustangs... Will Boston Pro60s fit in the 06 Convertible door (replacing Shaker 500)? I sure hope so or the shop that ordered my stuff is gonna get pissy.
My '98 Stang had lots of plastics break. I would make at least a trip a year to the local Ford salvage yard and pick up replacement stuff. For $15 per trip it is easy to forgive your baby and get back that lovin' feelin'.seat levers on the back of the seat snapping the head off it, e-brake handle cover coming off (broken clips), air vent coming off, ****** whine, gas tank doesnt always like to take gas to full it cuts off short,
Can they put the 6" where the Shaker "subwoofer' is and put the tweets up there? Not sure if the convertable door is any different. Just make sure your 6" will be happy with 12 liters sealed space, make an mdf ring and you should be good. I think the depth you can play with is 3.25, but the motor of the speaker can't be very big in diameter. Can they put the 6" where the Shaker "subwoofer' is and put the tweets up there?
Yup, somehow the door panel vibration isn't horrible, its there, but livable. So the sub enclousure is built into the door panel itself...not the door?
