anybody know about running power wire through this car? im lookin at just 4 gauge i guess. i would do 0 gauge if i KNEW i could hide it properly but i dont know if i could. anyays, anybody can help its appreciated.

not sure about the new ones, but in the 99-04 mustang, you can pretty much follow the wires through the firewall all the way to the trunk. Just have to remove a couple panels and follow under the carpet. Not too hard to do. Good luck.

u got a rous in ur avater.....good boy ! hahah things are nasty, drove one. but more or less, i see a loom going up the firewall...and i lose it...

the wires going through the firewall can be tricky to follow with all the pedals, etc. in the way. Try looking from the engine side of the firewall to see where it comes through. Should be some rubber gasket with the wires in the middle. Pretty easy to poke a hole in the gasket to run your 4 ga through. You can always get a metal coat hanger through and look inside to see where it comes through.

im lookin on the passenger side.....battery is located at the rear passenger side of the motor. i dont see any gaskets going through lol. maybe im blind but i dont. anyone of u guys played with one in this sense?

cmon people, i need to know what to do. im gunna run a nine.1 and a nine.2 in my car, will 4 gauge be plenty or should i splurge and get 0. i dont wanna know "bigger is better"or whatever, am i gunna have any performance loss in runnin 4 gauge

Bumpin this guy up. I'm getting ready to do my install in my 06 mustang this weekend. Anybody have any good advice on stock holes in the firewall to route 2 guage in these cars?

I ran 3 8awg through a hole thats down below the battery. There is a flap down there with a grommet. I just cut a hole in the grommet and ran through there.

Awesome man, thanks for the quick response! This weekend dayton ref 8's, focal 5.25 components, SS RL-p 12, kenwood dvd screen, sirius, and a few amps, and some deadening get installed. Thats the plan atleast, will see how far I actually get.
