2004 type R vs 2006 l7

i have a 2004 type R 15...wired to one ohm...how it gonna sound SQ, SPL, compared to a 2006 L7 15?

box that the type R is in is 4 cubes dual ported to 34 htz....the box for the L7 will get made to whatever specs sound best for a combo of SQ and SPL

L7 has more SPL than SQ. But they can sound halfway decent at the same time.

But I have heard the the Type Rs are a mix of both

so i might not be gaining anything by switching then possible more SPL with the l715

what's your purpose for changing?

type-r and L7 are pretty similar.....

not really an upgrade or a downgrade

put 2000w rms on your type-r, and if it ever blows up, get the L7?

or just smile, and relax?
