2003 Tahoe - Rd Audio

2003 Tahoe build from the bottom up in 3 weeks. The pictures now are of the truck tore down.

It is getting painted with PPG Vibrance tri stage paint. It will have three coats of clear and be a blue flip color. Mayfield’s in Villarica GA. is doing the complete paint job.

The Paint is due to be complete sometime this weekend.

We also added

HID's

Billet grill

True billet door handles

The system will start being built Monday the 26th. We are using a Kenwood ex. Flip out, one of the last ones they made with the Bur brown 24 bit converter and DSP built in.

* Two Ohio Generator 250 amp Alternators in it

* 10 group 31 batteries in the back and one group 26 in the front

* All Tsunami competition series RCA’s, power wire, and blocks

* One RD85.4

* One RD85.2

* Three sets of Alpha Components

* One RD7250.1

* Nine RD Sonance 12”

* Two headrest screens

We are going to built a tray for the 10 batteries out of angel iron and wood to go under the box. We will be making the box in three separate chambers to help with phase issues. The box will be a combination of ¾” MDF, 1” MDF, and 2” thick MDF for the top plate. The box will be tuned @ 30HZ.

I will post more pictures of the paint job this week and post many pictures of the System build.

Updated progress today on the paint

The roof was sprayed yesterday and the rest of the truck is being sprayed as we speak. The pictures do not do this justice.

The color flips a few colors of blue and even purple and the flakes flips a ton of colors also.

The pictures of the painted parts are still before the pearl was added or the final coats of clear.

Without a dought Mayfield's is an EXCELLENT body shop and has pulled out all the stops for me.

I am more interested in the Audio myself. Not big on the Flip/metallic paint jobs, even though at one time I owned a cameloen paint job on my custom 84 Toyota Corrolla.
