2001 Toyota with JBL System (HELP)

I have a 2001 Toyota Highlander with a JBL system and the 6 CD changer. I have a new head unit I want to put in and keep the factory amp for the speakers as I think they sound just fine. Upon some research I found out that I will need a special harness adaptor to keep the factory amp.

I cant seem to find a definitive answer for what adaptor I need as some people say the amp needs a digital signal.

I have a metra 70-8113 on order http://www.audiooutfitter.com/70-8113/metra/p733474.html

However I dont know if this was the one I needed, they both claim to do the same thing. TYTO-01 http://www.autotoys.com/x/product.php?productid=6404&cat=436&page=1

Can anyone with Toyota experiences help me out at all? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

Any one know about keeping a factory amp? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

Upon even more research I think I'm in luck. With my system I think my amp is analog being it is a 2001. Could anyone confirm this?
