2001 Impala Build

This is more so my first real build. It's in an 01 Impala. It took a couple weeks between getting the equipment and everything build, but I think it turned out nice. Was my first time making my own box, and carpeting it as well. Box is 2cubes before sub displacement, tuned to around 32hz. False floor was put in so I wouldn't have to drill the amp rack or the sub box to the frame. The sub does seem to get low, but I am going to do some testing this week and see what the impedance rise is, etc. Also need to do the big 3, just received the wire and terminals to finally do it. Need to still order new RCAs from KNU. The RSDs keep up nicely with the DC I must say. So, the everything in the car now is-

use enough glue? and whats with all the writing on the wood?

Yuup, too much glue, but it was sanded and taken care of. And I have friends who get bored and write on stuff. It was getting carpeted, so didn't matter either way.

black out your ports possibly, add some bracing also

good job for a first build,i agree wit kmanian shouldve painted the port.

this looks just like mine except my box is alot bigger, same rack and everything

I think when I experiment with some different box building this weekend, I'll be bracing them. Just didn't do it on this one, and I am kicking myself in the *** for it.
