2001 Eldorado Speaker Removal?

Hey guys I have a guy that wants to pay me to replace the 6x9's in his 2001 Eldorado, no problem... However Im reading these have the Bose system and they are a pain in the @ss so can any owners or anyone else tell me what I need or what has to be done just to replace them?

Had an Eldorado for a few years with many systems and took it apart more times than you can imagine.

Two 10mm bolts you need to loosen from the trunk to loosen the back seat they are at the top. Remove the bottom part of the rear seat (pops out) and unbolt the seat belts to get the bottom of the back seat loose. Once that is out the rear deck comes out pretty easy if I recall.

As far as getting the speakers to work, leave in the Bose or change everything.

Any pics? Id like to see how they are atleast in there... SO what your saying is I have to replace them with stock Bose or replace everything, deck, amps wiring?

I believe the Bose in that car is built so each speaker has its own amp built in.

So I cant just wire new 6x9's to those amps that are back there?

I guess you could. I have a old bose speaker from that car laying around I just put on a meter and it read 1ohm so you would be getting 1/4 of the minimal power it put out anyways.

It's the best route IMO but if they are going bad, it may be the amp not the speaker.
