Wiring up rear speakers PRE-line out converter?

I'm not sure If what I'm trying to accomplish is possible given my setup, but I haven't had my rear speakers connected ever since installing the line-out converter. I wanted to try to hook them up again but I wasn't sure how much power that converter was actually using?

I drew up a wiring diagram of how I wanted to make this work.

Would this work? or am I gonna have issues with volume between the subwoofer and my rears?

Any advice is appreciated.

That should be fine. If I am not mistaken, I just bit into the rear speakers and taped it off. So butt connectors will probably be even better. Its not gonna take power from the speakers, just is converting the signal some. So yes, that should work.
