i might change up the wiring just a little but not much ....the paneling will cover up most of the wires
dont have it powered up yet ...but i am sure i will have no problem with the heat...i have never had a problem before when i had 4 15's and a kicker 2500.1 shoved in there...put some fans back there and you will be fine..I like the way you've got the amp mounted. Do you have any problems with too much heat in your trunk during the summer times? Here in Texas I can't keep my amp in the trunk with the ridiculous heat. I could only ever get about 2-3 minutes of playtime so I had to move the amp into the cabin to get some A/C.
thanks man...i will post pictures in a little while ...on how some of the trim came out...i painted the panel black them put some of this texture stuff on there i love the way it came out...i am also gunna add some blue LED's later down the roadLooks great man. Keep it up. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsupwink.gif.129404938effda6ad9cca39e7f4b58a3.gif
well..right where the fuse holder is there is a a port in the back deck for the cabin...and i will be redoing the back deck to postion the speakers in a different way and make a bigger port back there....and the reason why i mounted the amp that was is cause from the side i will be able to adjust the controls on the amp easy!!! and if i layed the amp down flat it would be very tight and it would hang off the bottom board... and i do not want it flush i like the way it is now...i will be adding some leds soon to light the amp up...thanksI'm curious as to how the sound reaches the cabin. I also question the amplifier mounting position. Why not lay it flat or bring it up flush with the paneling? I just personally dont like the visual appeal of the angle. Other than that everything looks great!
yeah post pictures please...Its possible to fit two 18s back there...just did 2 fi bl's in around 9.5 cu ft tund to 32hz. Subs up port front tight squeeze but hits low.also I cut the armrest out to get a little more are and ported about 14x4 on rear deck. ill put some pics up in next couple days. The box is still raw. Though
no going the bandpass route anymore...just doing a 8cuft ported box......and yes when bass is added to the trunk and deaden is added it rattles like hell...You got the box plans? Does it rattle the **** out of your trunk though?
