The XLs look great! I really want to get my hands on a pair or even a single LVL5 18" sometime soon.

Does anybody know the trunk measurements of a Crown vic or a Marquis off hand?

I can fit 41" wide, 24" high, 22-23" deep. My current box is a little smaller than that but I'm pretty sure those measurements wouldn't be a problem.

thanks ^^^ but yeah that video does not justice!!!! they ****ing bang!!! loudest system i have ever had...and they are some very clean pounding subs.... I CANT WAIT i just want so bad to turn it 3/4 of the way and hear what it sounds like....my ONLY problem now is i got a shit!!!!!!!! load of noise in my speakers inside the cabin....when vol is low...or even on 0

beating down hard just riding around town gets down to 12.2 or lower if i let go of gas but i cut the vol down when it get to 12.1.........riding down the road it goes down about 12.8.....i so i really do not thank that alternator is doing much??? i really need to get it tested....and yes once i get going with my job and start making some money i mkight move my amp put like 2 more g21t yellow tops up there and find a spot for the amp....

Check your RCA wires, I had knukonceptz which worked fine but then one day I had a ton of noise. I first tried ground the RCAs on the HU like alot of Pioneer owners do (even though I have Alpine) which didnt help. Then I tested it by running a new set of Stingers outside the car which fixed it so I replaced em and all is good now.

Thankfully that **** buzzing/alt noise was driving me nuts.

Oh I've been meaning to ask how you like the subs up and port up vs subs back and port back? I don't think I can put my box on it's side like that or I would give it a try. Plus, my car is in the shop right now so I cant even try. :\

oh i love them...they beating down like the box is tuned to 28hz....takes that low notes good....shakes everything haha...i cant do a video b/c if i do it full blast sitting there bassing out it would go down into the 11's.... but i cant tell you the sound difference between subs up port up or subs up port back b/c i need had subs up port back...sorry...

Just to let everyone know...i sent the Mechman 270 amp alt back yesterday for full refund...once i get the money back i am ordering the new 270xp DC power Alt with the 15.1 voltage regulator in it....i will keep ya updated but i am off to work...gotta work all weekend...11am-11pm...

Do it, may suprise you. I did it with my 15" RL-p and it suprised me. Ive been doing some low power test with my new box and im glad I went with subs up port back, sounds great.
