20,000+ watt Tahoe From MS coming soon

you reversed those batteries yet?
called and did some research, these are different than powermasters and they will be fine the way they are, thanks for the concern tho

just wanted to let you know, as if you already don't know and no one else has told you, it's looking pretty bad ***. hope that battery situation doesn't turn out to be a bad situation. you'd figure the guys doing it have installed those upside-down before. i'm sure you'll be alright. just 'cause it's not recommended doesn't mean you can't do it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

They are the same AGM, sealed, valve regulated batteries as powermaster.

Who did you talk to that said they would be fine?

I pulled this from a website selling deka batteries:

"Flexible design can be installed in almost any position. (However, upside-down installation is not recommended.)"

Flip them over. It looks like you have the clearance to do so.

The guy that sells the deka batteries. . .not being a dick or anything but whats it going to hurt being upside down. .i know it says "not reccomended" but whats the difference in being in say-being on its side,or being upside down?. .again not being a dick, just wondering. ..

they mounted them upside down like that so they would go WAY up under there and hardly be seen,if they were the other way they would hang out of the bottom alot more and look tacky . ..and who is "rick" lol

The batteries will charge differently and cant circulate something and blah blah blah... I mounted my 3 Deka G31's upside down last year and I'll tell you from experiance, DONT do it. Unless your that "ok" with blowing money and dont mind having to rebuild the whole *** end of your vehicle. Call RemyBattery and ask to speak direct with a tech.. Im not even sure what some of the words the guy said to describe how it will affect the battery. But I learned the "Hard way" and that was the worst mistake of my life, next to getting married.

First couple months are great, then WHAM!! Your fvcked.

hey, if worst comes to worst and something does happen with the batteries being mounted upside down, the shop installed them that way. the shop should be insured so you shouldn't have to figure it out the hard way, the shop will. if the shop thinks it's okay to mount them that way, let them. if it's not, they'll have to fix whatever problems could possibly arise from the situation.
