1.should i fuse my 'line driver (phoenix gold.pld1)'?...if so how many amps?

2.will the routeing of the signal,

h.u.sub out-line driver-sub amp-sub,

create a delay that is audiable in the playback,if im useing the h.u amp to run front and rear speakers? (im guessing not but thought id ask you.

3. with regard to delay in wires, if we were to,for an extreme example, wire a car with the subwoofer playing off 100 miles of speaker wire but placed in the trunk of the car with the wire rolled up,would we notice a delay then? im curious as to how fast the signal travels down the wire and why wireing some components direct and some via other components doesnt degrade playback accuracy!

thanks 4 shareing your knowledge.......

2. No

3. 100 miles? Yes! It's a matter of resistance on the wire, which will reduce power. You'll never notice a difference between 10 or 20 feet, but miles of wire would be bad.

When working with capacitors and inductors, they will cause a delay in the signal (phase shift)...Chances are though the engineer that designed the circuit takes this into account, and can properly correct it.

If I recall from my physics class a few years back, the signal travels at the speed of light...or close to it.
