2 quick questions about fuses and distro blocks for my install

My setup will be 4awg from the battery to a distro block to two 8 awg runs for a Kicker 600.1 mono and a Arc Audio 2ch 370w.

According to the bcae1 calculator, I need a fuse near the battery of 75A-125A.

Question 1: I have an 80A AGU fuse from a previous install, will this work?

Question 2: Should I be looking at a fused or unfused distro block for this install?

I would just fuse the cable coming off the battery, not the distro, and use the 80amp fuse and if it keeps blowing and your system isnt clipping, get a bigger fuse

Go back and read the section on fuses. Any time you go from a larger awg to a smaller awg you must fuse for the smaller wire. 8awg calls for 50 amp fuse, so you'll need a fused distro.

Yep, after reading more today on bcae1, I was able to determine 50A fused as well. Thanks Duke
