#1 whats the deal with the isolator, i've heard that its just to keep from killing your front battery if you run with the vehicle off, i've heard if you don't have one your batteries will drain eachother front to back...

if im running 1 type of battery up front and a different type out back do i need an isolator?

what will happen if i don't have one?

#2 i know the fusing is within 18" of both positives front and back, so 2 fuses next to each post... however, if im running 3 batteries in the back with a bus bar or even just really short 12" pieces of 1/0, do i have to worry about fusing between them?

1) some recommend the isolator, i dont. i have 2 different types of batteries. one up front is different then the ones in the back and i havent had any problems so far.

2) dont need to fuse in between the ones in back but it is good to fuse the long runs of wire at both ends.

cool, one less thing to buy, and i knew about double fusing the long run front and back, but i wasn't sure about between batterys in the back, never seen em fused but i thought i'd ask. I'm a cheap ***, i figure 3 of those everstart maxx marine batts from walmart at 1000cca each and over 100ah plus the 850cca duralast i have up front, and my 200amp alt should run 3500w without a whole lot of issue

are those sealed? if not, i wouldnt put them in your car

no they aren't but i was planning on venting them into the fender or mounting them under the car on a custom mount between the frame rails... will figure it out when the time comes... if i have to ill run 1 of those sprinter batteries but i've heard good things about the walmart batteries, not to mention a warrenty so if i kill them i can just swap them out

what makes an agm battery better if the specs on a regular battery are better?, and for the price of 2 of the C&D batts... i could get 5 of the maxx marine batts
