What would hit harder 2 12's ported or 3 12's sealed , If I do ported w (2) 1100 watts , With 3 sealed my amp will put out closer to 1500 watts , What do you think will hit harder ??? I know 3 sealed will more than likely sound better but will it be louder also ?????????????????

I'd still go sealed, though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Well box is already built 4 cubes total with 2 subs , I have a 3rd so I was thinking on taking the port out and put the 3rd 12 in there , How big a diff does it make if the subs are sharing the same airspace sealed , Is it a huge diff and what is the diff in sound ??

However, if you blow one, you can't use the other two ...

i'm really excited to get the sub. looks very ugly (which is the beauty of it). those people with rockford fosgates from best buy will be embarrassed when they find out how much they wasted on their system. did i mention i was going for sound quality too?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif still need to get a stronger amp though. probably a US acoustics USX2080. one amp per coil (each amp bridged) . best of all..the amps are only $82.99 each plus $6.95 (total about $175?) thats 280 underrated watts (about 312wrms@14.4v) per coil. yes i'm evil //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

that is why my friend, i'm getting a line driver that puts out 8v:D the most the amp will take is 8.8v. i'd figured i'll have the gains all the way down. i can pick an audiocontrol line driver from a friend for only $30. talk about deals.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
