2 or 4 channel amp needed?

I would like to hook up my front door and rear door speakers up to an amp. Do I need a 2 channel or a 4 channel amp to hook them all up?

4ch if you want all of them to be amplified by the amplifier, but you could get a 2ch to amp the front speakers and amp the rears off you headunit if it has an internal amplifier.
