I'm still pretty new to car audio but I feel like I'm drinking from a fire hose as I read through this forum and the12volt.com. My question is how important is it to have a 2 ohm or 4 ohm sub?
I'm looking at either a RE SE10D2 or RE SE10D4 sub. For an amp, I'm looking at a Audiopipe 15001D and plan to run it @ 4 ohms for 600rms.
Should I get the 2 ohm sub and wire it in series to get 4 ohms? Any suggestions appreciated. Also, if anyone has other ideas, they're also welcome but I'm looking to stay within the $300 range.
Thanks!
I guess this should be moved to the sub or amp section. Sorry
