2 ohm amp

does it take anything special to wire a 2 ohm amp to a 4 ohm sub?
What are you meaning a "2 ohm amp" ? Amps are either stable or not at a given impendence load. Most are stable at 2 ohms in stereo or 4 ohms in mono (excepting monoblock sub amps as they have no stereo mode) have a look at the page Blados has provided you the link to and it ought to give you the wiring options you need. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Let me word it like this..will it take anything special to run a 1000 watt x1channel @2 ohms amp to a dual 4 ohm sub?
First of all, you run the sub to the amp, not the amp to the sub. Second, if you look at the link I posted it will tell you that a dual 4 ohm sub CAN BE wired to 2 ohms.
