2 nice car's thinking about buying one of them

dont' worry about crankwalk. sure it happens, but so what. if it does, swap in a 1g 6 bolt block and be done with it. it doesnt' happen to all of them anyway. in fact everyone i know with a 2g or 7 bolt 4g63t has never had a crankwalk issue and we're big into dsm's here.

hell, any engine will crankwalk, some other brands have that issue as well.

my bro in law bought the blue one... 1990 eagle talon dsm turbo.. 12.5 sec car... going to go take it for a test drive and get some pics of it after work.. i;ll post em up when i get some shots...

If you know how to work on it go for it, a lot of people seem to jump into them not knowing WTF they are doing then call them a piece of shit because they **** //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I don't know how tall you are but I am almost 6'2" and my knees hit the shit out of the dash on the eclipse (this was a laser) so something to think about if you plan on driving it around daily.
I am 6'4" and never had a problem with that. Drove my eclipse for 2 years

yes you did..

yea.. im sure it's been takein care of.. both motor's have been fully re-built, ported and polished.. the whole 9 yards...
Ive had friends get crankwalk 3 weeks after a fresh rebuild. Its just bad engineering. It's not on all DSM's, just all motors manufactured after April of 1992:laugh: If the motor walks, just go ahead and swap in a 1g 6 bolt motor.
