2 JL w7 problem

A friend is getting ready to purchase 2 JL w7 and he does not know what amp to push them with?? please help.

well both are single 3 ohm if i remember so 2 will make a dual 3 which could be wire to 1.5? i might be wrong i duno..but a pg tantrum 1200.1 would be perfect if thats the case..around 300 and will give you a strong average 750 to each sub.
