2 independent subs?

Is there any way I can set up a sort of 2-channel system where I have one softer sq sub and amp for easy listening and soft folk and can with a switch or dial shut it off and change over to a big, pig of a SPL sub for orchestra and pipe organ music?

just get a SI Mag and be done with it. Great sounding with the ability to pound

Focus on a good mid bass section then fit the sub accordingly.

But yeah with 2 different amps and some toggles I guess

how does it measure up to a 15" 4000W stroker? (check 'im getting a stroker' for all stats.)

its not made to hang with a stroker in SPL but it will kill the CV for all around daily listening

Maybe a toggle switch with a 15" stroker ported for SPL and 2 12" DIYMAs sealed for SQ.

ya im gettin the stroker. Ill research the Dymas. Thats the way I was thinking of doing it.

It will cost a lot to power it and run it properly. Maybe not suitable for a first timer.

x2, any sub worth buying will do what you want , if not don't buy it!

x3 Remote gain knob is your friend. I keep mine dialed way back 99% of the time and let my mids do most of the work, but do have the option of cranking up the subs when in the mood for some killer kick drums or whatever.

The right subs/box should do what you need without having to do 2 separate subs/boxes...

"remote gain"; Is that like having an independent dial to ajust the base on your one sub channel? Because that's starting to make a lot more sense than toggling 2 seperate subs. I'm playing romantic period orchestra which requires both SQ and extreme SPL.

Get a pair of the 13.5 W7's they will do what you want

For less money you coudl go the SI mag route

a treo of IDMax would do it as well.

A 18" or 15" Fi Q might also do what you are asking.

Do you have tons of space?

What is your budget?

RMS on amps available for this install?
