2 dd 3512s vs. 2 L7 12s

its really not a comparison ... DD's can take abuse, sound good, and get loud as shit
L7s dont get loud enough to be SPL woofers and dont sound good enough to be considered SQL

are you serious? i have 1 12 and its very loud. wtf kind of statement was that? what kind of box did you run it in or was it in?

dual 4 and 1200rms is their rating.

u can get custom options. i seen em down to .35 or at least i heard.. but for u amp get dual 1s

and also i had a modified mtx81000d which roughly 2kw @ 1ohm with both my L7's?

4.5 cube box @ 30 hz

and its my opinion, sure it doesnt sound to bad, but compared to the atomic, they dident have any SQ to them at all, even in a small box tuned to 30 hz

There are a lot of people on this board that will disagree with you, and I am one.

Very ignorant statement. The l7s have proven themselves time and time again....

im glad you disagree and have your own opinion, that helps develop growth and diversity

but in MY application when i OWNED 2 12" L7's with over 1kw going to each, i expected more, considering my single atomic was nearly as loud, if not a hair louder than the (2) L7's ... well that speaks for itself

Yea, mojos, L5s, solo x, w6, orion hp1000, kicker comps and vr, type es r's, audiobahn 1206 eternals, the lists goes on.

But Ive never heard these brands like dd hd3 idmax ect. because nobdy has them where i am. Its all about kicker alpin jl treo.

well its your decision, considering ive owned L7's and have since gone to DD, well thats my choice and in my opinion DD > L7

once ive gotten my 9515 together and installed id be glad to meet any of you guys to see which is louder //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif (to the single, or (2) L7 guys... of course you comp guys will be louder )
