2 dd 3512s vs. 2 L7 12s

Which subs are better? I want to change from them but i dont want to degrade from what i have now. I have the L7's ported on a brutus 1605d. Will the dd's will do better??

DD > L7

ive owned 12" L7's, but the only DD's ive heard have been the 9500 series

but still, 3512s > L7s

its really not a comparison ... DD's can take abuse, sound good, and get loud as shit

L7s dont get loud enough to be SPL woofers and dont sound good enough to be considered SQL

for instance my 12" Atomic Ap/SPL was louder than both my L7's

I would say DD. I owned a L7 and a SX. The SX is way better than the L7 and I hear the DD is better than the SX.

The 3512s will be STUPID loud if you take the time and do everything correctly, example your going to need roughly 3k to get them going real good and in a 4cube box tuned at 38-40hz!! The bass will make your ears rings at the least.
