2 channel for my morel tempo ultra 602's

Just ordered a set of morel tempo ultra 602 components as I'm trying to decide on an amp for them. They are rated at 120w rms and I'm planning to run them with a 2 channel amp.

Ive looked at a few but not 100% on the quality of them. I usually stick with alpine amps but apparently they don't have any 2 channels...

Glanced at the ppi black ice 800.2 and the pioneer GM-A5602 but I am looking for suggestions

Get a 4 channel. You will need it later on anyway. Either adding more or going active.

Stay away from PPI.

No plans to go active so I am pretty set on stocking with a 2 channel for now. If something changes down the road I'll look into a 4 channel at that time.

Maybe find a used DD SS2. That's 120 per channel.

Not many options out there at that power. They are either old school or 200-300 plus a channel and more money.

How about looking at the ZAPCO ST-2X. It's 60 watts RMS and can be had for $100 at Amazon:

I'm pushing 60 watts to my Tempo Ultras with my Arc amp and I am plenty happy. This Zapco should be just fine if you want a 2 channel amp. But, for only $60 more, you can get the Zapco ST-4X II and have those 4 channels (for when you eventually do go active).

of course I do but I also want to get the most out of the speakers I can. If my speakers handle 120rms why would I want an amp that i would have to push that hard to get half of what the speakers are rated for?

If you want to get the most out of them than the install is more important than a 3db gain from 60-120 watts. And you will want at least 200 watts per channel. I.E. Bridged 4 channel
