2 batteries bad for my altinator?

if price is a problem, you can run welding wire. Overkill is always ok. Personaly I wouldent run any less then 1/0 back to a batt. Preferably I would run 2/0 and use the batt as your distro. I would think 4ga from the batt to amp would be fine. Dont forget to fuse the second batt.

this is what i did. but i ran 1/0 from the frot to the back, then 1/0 to my sub amp (fused) and 4ga to my 4ch (also fused). and 2 fuses between batteries. one at the front, one at the back.
