2 amps or 1 big amp! please help

hey im new to this site and i need help. i have 4 12'' hifonics brutus sqaures i bought and i need to know which route i should go on as far as the amp/amps. this is my first system i build from the ground up. the subs are DVC 4 ohm 600watt rms 1200watt peak and they will be in a custom box tuned at 33hz firing up. thanks for the help.

A single audiopipe 3k would suit ya. Cheap, and good for your ohm load.

Amplifiers | AP-30001D

Take 2 subs, put all the + together, and all the - together, and put it in the left channel of the amp....then take the other 2 subs, do the same and put it in the right channel. Done.

ahahaha that simple huh.... alright bro. i been getting alot of mixed anwsers here locally so i thought id try this forum. alot of people recomended 2 amps, one for each pair wired to 1 ohm.. thanks for your help

The amp is 2 boards in 1, hence why you can run 2 ohms bridged or 1 ohm to each side. Easy to do 1 to each side. It will also have the power you need. Plus they are cheap to buy for the power ya get.

sorry bout all the questions but wiring the way u told me would put me at 1/2 OHM if this diagram is correct im looking at.

the ap3k is actually a 2 channel (or more correctly 2 amps in one case) so wiring like mentioned above will put each of the amps inside at a 1 ohm load which is what they are built for.

my bet is that he was thinking the 3k is like most sub amps with 2 sets of terminals that are in parallel with each other.
