2 amp 1 DVC sub

I know what I want to achieve. Plus I could just strap the amps together but I don't want to spend 40-50 bucks for a sync cable. I am tryin to educate myself that is why I asked the question and not just jumped into it. Man, could you just answer with a more informative answer?
im not trying to sound rude, im trying to help, so take this with a grain of salt...

if you knew what you wanted to achieve you would already know how to do what you are trying to do, what it would accomplish, and exactly what you needed and the steps to do it... as far as strapping the amps together, i dont know what kind of amps you have, but all the amps i have strapped just took a single RCA and one had to be dedicated the slave while the other the dummy(but i dont have tons of experience strapping amps either).

you could simplify your life a whoooooole lot and probably come out cheaper just by buying a single amp, that does the power you need to run the subwoofer, instead of two amps doing half of what you want/need... so my original statement stands, educate yourself a little more, look into the situation more, and do things the easy way //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif . no need to complicate something that could be done easily.

Come on Hoss, you KNOW that's not true... ideally it would be, but it's just not...
yeah i know //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif . but hey, if someone gets the idea in their head that if someone else does something then they wanna do it too, but they dont know how/why/for what reason they are doing it, then more power to them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif . they can keep the industry alive by buying more equipment when theirs releases the smoke //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Wire each coil to each amp and set your gains to 100% sensitivty.

There your done.

After all that shit goes up in smoke come back and we will recommend a proper sub and amp match.

I already have the amps. They run strong by themselves. I just wanted to know if someone knows how i would do it like Steve, but I guess I will answer myself, no one here knows. I already know how to strap BD amps together, but I like a challenge. Thanks anyway everyone

but I guess I will answer myself, no one here knows
oh we know... we were just trying to save you time and money. have fun, and good luck //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

P.S.--anyone wanna start a pool on how long until candyman starts a thread titled "need help ASAP, sub is smoking, amps on fire, sister pregnant, im the dad!" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

Take some pics of the smoke so that we all can enjoy.

There is no way that you can match the gains properly with a DMM...just buy the sync cable or wahtever you need to do it right

II still need to set gains seperatly but the sync cable syncronizes the amps. Oh yeah HOSS, I'm smart enough not to try it out if I don't know exaclty how to do it. There would not be any smoke. Did you learn that things smoke because of dumb decisions?
