Im going to have a RF amp for my sub (400s model) pushing probably 250 watts and a MTX 4 channel amp pushing about max 50 watts per channel. What size fuses should I put in the dist. block? Im thinking a fused 4 guage wire from the battery to the block and 2 8ga wires from the block to the amps will be okay. Right? THANKS!

Well, you usually need to fuse for the smaller wire at the distro block, IF your amps are fused internally.

If they are not, then look in the manuals or online and find the current draw for them, then fuse for that.

I say fuse for current draw because your run of 8awg will most likely be very short, therefor able to withstand great amounts of current. Fusing for the wire would be almost the same as leaving it unfused at the distro. Get me?

unfortunately i dont have the manuals and Im really bad with electrical kind of stuff. How can I tell if my amps are fused internally? Thanks!
