I was wondering how do you hook up and amp on each coil. I know everything hasto be set exaclty the same or else! But to set the gains, would i set them with a DMM like in the sticky? What other things do I have to do to run two amps on one sub safely?

i want to be like that steve meade guy

most people dont do things just to look cool... they do them because they are educated and know what they are doing and what they are trying to achieve //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Come on Hoss, you KNOW that's not true... ideally it would be, but it's just not...

I know what I want to achieve. Plus I could just strap the amps together but I don't want to spend 40-50 bucks for a sync cable. I am tryin to educate myself that is why I asked the question and not just jumped into it. Man, could you just answer with a more informative answer?

I'm afraid that's not a possibility either...

yeah, do that and you should be fine, hey why not run 4 amps, 2 per coil, more power! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I could do that but read my title I just want 2 T-W-O amps. Plus if I didn't want to spend money on a SYNC cable why would I have the money for 2 extra amps.

Well, it's not something that I would do, but go ahead and give it a shot. As mentioned above, ensure both amps are pushing the same current. Worst case scenario: sub damaged.
