2 alp. type r. what amp??

like the title says im getting 2 12" alpine type R's but i cant figure out what amp would be the best compatible with these subs. Im looking to spend somewhere between $300-$500 on an amp. Im really new to the whole car audio thing so any help would be appreciated. thanks.

the diamond d5 1200.1 is a super stong amp. i would take the diamond all day over the orion. or you can step it up to the d6 1500.1.

i am very pleased with the quality of diamonds middle line amps. they are bullet proof and strong as can be. very underrated.

Dude... $300 to $500 for an amp?!

You might as well get a GREAT amp for that money.

My top recommendation:

DLS A6

(or A3 ... however, you have to bridge it)

Dual power supply, 1 ohm stable, made in Sweden, class A/B topology, etc.

Kicker KX1200.1. A couple buddies of mine have had that amp and never had a problem with it. Pushed their subs really well.
