2, 4 or 5 channel?

Hi Everyone,

I am looking to power a 3-way component set plus a subwoofer.

What is the best amp combination? Does it make a difference?

2 ch Amp + Monoblock

4 ch Amp Bridged + Monoblock

5 ch Amp Bridged

I noticed that the 4 and 5 channel amps bridged seem to have a lot more power for the money.

Also how much over the speaker rated power handling can my amp be?
