lol not really sure what ya mean. The port doesnt go any further past the front of the box, there should be a pic of it. Also used a round over bit on the port hole

I don't like how the subs sit so low, imo mounted too deep looks worse than mounted on top, idk if it bothers you or you care at all but I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to figure something out to use as spacers

ive seen a few boxes where the subs are mounted pretty low and imo it looks better. honestly i dont think it makes much of a difference and its just personal preference

Box looks fantastic, but that port design seems iffy to me. I can't imagine that it wouldn't cause lots of turbulence and compression.

I know what ya mean. I would have gone wider and thinner but thin ports just look weird to me and dont seem as efficient. Maybe its just me

I did whatever i could to minimize any noise/turbulance.

I put 45's in all the corners of the port and i sanded down and rough exposed edjes. I think it will be just fine.

If i could have changed one thing i would have spaced it out a little farther from the speakers but There is still a good 2 inches between the bottom of the magnet and the top of the port (not the port hole).

If I can get a pic with a sub in there ill try. Ill probably drill the mounting holes for them when i get home

Im glad you guys like the way it looks though. As long as SVT is happy with it, i am.

sanded with 100 grit

pre drilled speaker holes

got 10 ft 14awg speaker cable

sealed the box up with silicone where needed

Ok box is together but i have a feeling something is wired out of phase. barely any air movement at the port at low frequencies.

They all move, one seems to bottom out sooner than all the others =/

uploading a vid now. ima pull em out and check the wiring... to bad its all taped and ziptied up already=/
