2000 isnt alot? or most drivers just have **** poor efficiency?last setup i had i did a simi vurp box with a pair of 15s and 1800 watts and was into the 150s at 35hz. granted they where pretty peaky but that was the point.

people think these huge RMS powerhanling woofers are better but truth is they are less efficient.

Id say if you have 2k and 6.5 cubes a good low Q pair of 15s would work great. is that before port displacment? im going to assume that its total net volume with port included..

There are efficient high power subs but people don't want to pay from them. My overpriced DDs got plenty loud on 500 watts and very loud on 2500. But they are overpriced and I'm a nut hugger.
