How about the areos? Maybe a pair of 4" or a single 6". I know that the areos will save you space, but im not sure about designing a box with them. Maybe an option.

ok, here we go.....

box plans for the box that is in the car now:

i have about the same clearance on each side, which is about 3/4" to 1". the plywood on the back is not part of the box. it is screwed to the box to mount the amps on without piercing the box.

How does your current single 12 sound?

How would you feel about going 21" deep (instead of 13.5") and keeping the height and width the same?

my single 12" is pretty loud IMO; depending on the temp/humidity ratio.

i'll have to see how that measures out. idk if i can keep the 16" height with the 21" length. i don't think it'll fit in the opening.
