Lol, the Q sounds much much better. I have to ask what is your listening material to determine the SQ? The only thing I couldn't tell the difference in a single sub set-up between the two is the output. They both get very loud and will take gobs of power. Only on a meter will you be able to differ the output.Honestly I really don't see how much sound qualty you can get from 25-80hz. To be honest I can't really tell the difference between in SQ between the Fi Q and the Type R... well I can but only at peak volumes IMO. All I know is the Type R gets quite a bit louder than the Fi Q and the sound quality difference is not really even noticable.
18x37x12= 3.559ft^3 internal airspace with using 3/4" MDF //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Going with that size of a box is as wide as I can go, as tall as I can go and leaves 5" between the box and the end of the trunk. Having gas tanks in the trunk FTMFL!
I do..... less space,less power, less $$$.So, in conclusion.
We all agree, one 15" R ported![]()
Mostly rap.Lol, the Q sounds much much better. I have to ask what is your listening material to determine the SQ? im about to get a box around that size for my 2 12 Rs. so hopefully they will get loud in that box.On another note, how would 2 12" Type R's do in a 3.5-3.8ft^3 ported box? The reason I ask is I can get 2 12's with a store warranty for as much as I can get a new 15" Type R.
Well if I'm happy with the output on 1 12" in a 1.3ft^3 sealed then I should be happy with 2 12" in 3.5-3.8ft^3 ported.im about to get a box around that size for my 2 12 Rs. so hopefully they will get loud in that box.
ya man then do the 15 with about 1200 watts.Well if I'm happy with the output on 1 12" in a 1.3ft^3 sealed then I should be happy with 2 12" in 3.5-3.8ft^3 ported.
However I've always wanted to go with a 15" sub...
