2- 12" Type R Alpine speakers, Wich kind of box should I go with??

what are you going for? If you want tight bass go with a sealed box, if you want boomier bass that's a bit louder go with a ported. I'd advise against any bandpass boxes.

agreed....however those subs tend to be more sq oriented so i'd suggest a large sealed box...good luck

Note these subs are rated for .4 to 1.0 CF in a sealed enclosure.

I'm runing my Alpine Type R 12" in a 1.25CF enclosure and it sounds decent. I may still try and reduce the box volume at some point to see what the difference is.

I like this sub. The goal of my system is SQ, and this seems to fit the bill perfectly. The only thing I've heard that I'd get rid of it for is a 12W6V2.
