2 10" type r vs 1 10w7

quick question i have 2 alpine type r in a custom slotted box bilt to specs would a w7 10 sound better and hit lower? The amp pushing it would be an mrd 1005. My type rs get real loud and play tight bass but it doesnt hit the real low notes like i want. would a sealed box be better or would the w7 do the trick

awesome i have heard a lot of good things bout the sub. IM not to concerned with loudness casue the type rs are 2 loud in my case i want more sq and i want to hit the lower notes

just got one for 325 shipped . look forward to seeing how it sounds. what brings out the best in the sub ported or sealed. i want to hear the the low bass what i was missing with the type r s

Yeah i have 2 as well and they are loud as shit !! BUt just loud they dont play all the fq's i like
