1k rms amp @2 ohm

Alright, im now looking for an amp that puts out around 1k watts at 2 ohms. Atm i just have the 2 15s that have 350w rms each, but i plan on just getting 1 18 with 1k watt rms. I've been working a lot of 12 hr tours latley on the midnight shift, so im too tired to search and read lol. Anyone have a suggestion? Oh yeah, i've got roughly 600-700 to spend on it as well.

... selling for $102, is that a joke or what? I can't seem to find any specs for it though. It says it 1 ohm stable, so it's probably 1kw rms @1 ohm, and 500 for 2 ohm right? Which are most likely way overrated...

is your budget 600-700 total for the 18 and a amp...?

and that legacy you are looking at stay away...

nah 6-700 just for the amp, im gonna wait a few weeks for the sub

there are lots of good options for amps then in that price range...kicker 1200.1

also a exile 2400.1 and you would have headroom for later on...ect...

i was unable to find a 1200.1... would a SX1250.1 be as good?

alright after a little more lookin i found that i can either get one of those 1250.1 kickers or i could get 2 Hifonics BXi 1606D for the same price pretty much... whats the better deal?

well the hifonics would be a better deal in this situation simply because your getting 2 amps and mor room to expand in the furture if youd like to go that route... what are your plans in thn future?...a 18" that will handle both hifonics one on each coil? a dual 1 ohm btl would be nice with both them hifonics... just some thoughts for you...

they are little overated but not a bad amp for the money...

that pricerange is insane

you could get 4000 true watts for $700, you don't need to get that spendy for an amp

pick up the opti2000D in the classifieds

i'd find it for you if i could use the search bar, but i tried refreshing 4 times, and the flashy ads kept blocking it

depends on what you are wanting to do have to pick future sub first and by amp/amps off that...
