Just catching up on this thread, Kimber IMO is really fancy so you will pay for the decent quality and The judges are just a cool concept but thats about it...

So have I .....shot up a dead 89 Cougar that I had back when....

Keep a Mossberg 500 in the Mbr. Pistol grip with 18.5" barrel. The pump action has a very unmistakable and distinct sound. Most would turn around after hearing the slide on one....IMO this is one of the reasons they are good HD weapons.

I've got a mossberg 500, an AR15 carbine and an AK47 2ft from my bed. My 1911 is on my head board. I want to do a build with the remington 870 duracoat and stuff. My mossberg was a gift so it's staying factory. I will own a benneli one of these days best shotgun I ever shot.
