1911 guys

Here's mine ... Springfield Armory Trophy Match. I don't carry, but it'll do just dandy as home defense. I love the feel, the kick, the balance and the big hole it makes. Long live John Moses Browning's masterpiece.

Here are mine,

Wilson Combat with some nice factory mods (top left)

Springfield Ultra Compact, Fully Loaded. Has all of the factory offered mods for this one.

Bushing-less barrel, skeletonized , adjustable trigger.(set to abut 1.2 lbs) skeletonized hammer, flared ejection port. tuned, duel recoil spring.

and a match barrel. and extended beaver tail grip safety. (top right)

She is one hell of a shooter and my cary gun.

Norinco (modded by Wilson Combat). Nice shooter and the wife's gun.(bottom left)

and a G.S.P. custom built Springfield. No fancy frills but the absolute best that can be done with stock, factory parts.(bottom right)

Built on an actual Springfield frame and all Springfield parts except for the sights and grip safety.

I would think 1.2 lb trigger is awfully light for a carry, no?
Thanks for this thread BTW. Now I'm gonna clean my .45 and go to the range...
Maybe for someone not used to a trigger like that. For me that along with the 2 independent safeties, I am 110% comfortable with it.

Here are 2 I just picked up this morning.

An older and rather nice Sig P6 9mm and a Ruger SP101 .357mag(5 shot)

The .357 is for the wife to carry....135gr full wad cutter in .357 will stop just about anything and not over penetrate.

The Sig is just to ad to the collection and for fun.

And what is with all of yall talking abut cleaning your guns and going shooting?? They should already be cleaned from the last time...right?? LOL

I also grabbed up 500 rnds of 230gr Winchester ball for the .45.....I will do some shooting as well.

Have fun and be safe guys.

the problem would be the chance of light strikes on the primer, usually a 100% daily gun it will be 3-4 pounds. a comp gun would be less.
How would you have light strikes on the primer? If there was any chance of that, the weight of the trigger would have no affect on that.(except for someone making a mistake on their part)

AFWIW, 6500 rnds through the Ultra Compact and have never had issue with the light trigger.

Of course I could not and would not recommend something that light to someone. I have actually trained and spent many hours behind her and am

used to the gun. She is also the side arm I carry while I am instructing/training for my PMC company here in Ga.
