Im actually looking into stepping down to a pair of 10s and sell my 12s or trade for some beefy *** 10s jist havent seen any 10s pop up that can handle 2k each

If i was running a pair of zv4s i would get something that does at least 5k ..then ur looking at a 3rd battery also

The cost of this upgrade keeps going higher, lol.

If it was me, I'd go bigger. I like to have a lot of headroom, so I can send the sub a clean signal. If you get the SAZ-3500, you may not get the full potential out of both subs.
Look into Banda and Taramps. They're Brazilian. They are more efficient and less costly for high power. I'm running a Banda 7000 rated at 8400 rms to my dd Z. It is not maxed out, and after box rise the sub sees much less power. Voltage drop is almost non-existent too

Which is more preferred? The Banda Viking 5000 is less than the Taramp HD5000. I want good quality over keeping the price lower, I just dont want the price to go WAY higher.

Both of those amps are way cheaper than the bc3500 and saz3500 ..thats all i kno abt them...ive seen sucess and failure out of both

I had a Banda 5000. I sold it to a friend who is using it for his dd 9515. As long as your electrical is good, you won't have problems. Make sure to use OFC wire too, since they only have single power inputs. Get dual inputs if you already have CCA wire.

I'll try the Banda, I dunno if I have OFC or CCA, either way its going to be OFC before I get the new subs and stuff.

Another Question, I'm wanting to upgrade the rest of my system first, Highs & Mids, I was thinking Crescendo PWX 6s and FT1s. Should I just do the standard 4 6.5s & 4 tweets or will I need more than that?

Then u have a crappy box lol ur box should peak at tuning .is it a prefab or custom made box

If your box peaks at tuning that means you have to much port area and no bandwidth.

The box's tuning frequency is where it peaks.. Doesn't mean it has no bandwidth.

If not, what would you say a box's tuning frequency is?

The red line peaks around 45 hz. Isn't it tuned at 45 hz then??

Cabin gain and imp rise at tuning. Software will not tell you what's going to happen when the vehicles resonance comes in. And that has no bandwidth.

I have some 9512h's I'd sell for the right price. I got them used and never got a chance to use them, unfortunately.

cpl get what you want, just cuz this guy said he seen a couple sp4s catch fire don't let that discourage you from getting what you want. ive seen countless subs catch fire, that's what happens when you run twice their rated power to them. if your gna give it its rated which is 3000rms or even 1000 watts more you shouldn't worry about a dam thing. btw idk if you will be able to get the sound you want from that 18 if its gna be in your trunk. your best bet would be building as big as your trunk is and going with aeroports. slot port is out of the question. that would take up to much volume. aeroports are the way to go when size is a problem. id go with aeroports 11 sq in of port area per cube.
